California Harassment Compliance Training
California law may require managers and supervisors to participate in a regular training program to prevent illegal sexual and other harassment, discrimination and retaliation.
A hostile work environment may be illegal, but it also can be a symptom of a much larger problem -- lack of respect in the workplace. Many companies just barely maintain the minimum requirements of the law and have written policies and procedures which, on paper, prohibit harassment on the basis of sex, race, age, religion, national orientation, disability and sexual orientation.
However, as we all know, a policy on paper and what really happens can be two separate things. Even if a company has policies prohibiting harassment and do the minimum training requirements, our firm is still successful in holding the company responsible for the day-to-day harassment and unlawful employment practices that they choose to employ.
